About
Chad Weidner is a permanent lecturer in English, Theatre and Media Studies at Roosevelt Academy, an international honors college of Utrecht University, in Middelburg, the Netherlands.
A Flemish Community Fellow, Chad is writing his Ph.D. thesis in literature at Ghent University, Belgium. He is working under the guidance of Professor Kristiaan Versluys.
Chad holds a Master of Arts in English from the University of Nebraska Graduate College, USA. He got his B.A. in English from the University of Nebraska.
He has previously taught in the Department of English Speaking Cultures at Bremen University, Germany, and in the English Department at the University of Nebraska Kearney, USA.
Chad enjoys reading and thinking about the connections between humans and the environment, and roughing it for weeks at a time in the Rocky mountains of the USA and Canada.
